JFAK will lecture for ArpaFIL Foundation in Guadalajara, Mexico

On December 2, JFAK will deliver a lecture in Guadalajara, Mexico, as part of the ArpaFIL Architecture Foundation’s lecture series which will run parallel to the 2009 International Book Fair. ArpaFIL, founded in 1995 and dedicated to the advancement of a critical and contemporary architectural discourse, has established a design competition and workshop series, panel discussion, and lecture series to take place November 28 – December 5, culminating in a special event that will honor the City of Los Angeles’ Thom Mayne of Morphosis. John Friedman and Alice Kimm will lecture on their recent work, highlighting the design process that underlies their work on the Guest of Honor Pavilion for the 2009 Guadalajara International Book Fair.
