Roberts Pavilion Honored at the SoCal IIDA Calibre Design Awards

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 24th, 2017) - The 29th Southern California Calibre Design Awards Winners were announced at the Gala Event on Friday, May 19th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Calibre Design Awards celebrate design and recognize the excellent work of project teams that have exceeded the expectations of the profession, bringing design to life.

Roberts Pavilion, Claremont McKenna College’s new 144,000 square-foot athletics, recreation and events center. was honored in the Health and Wellness Category, and the award was accepted onstage by JFAK Architects Principal John Friedman and team member David Herd, Buro Happold Engineering's North America Managing Director.

IIDA is an association for the Commercial Interior Design profession with 13,000 Members in 33 Chapters around the world. Founded in 1995, the Southern California Chapter is one of the largest Chapters with over 800 members in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and the Inland Empire. The first SoCal Calibre Design Awards took place in 1988.
