“Bring Learning Innovation to Education”: Iovine and Young Center’s Phase 1 Opens in Leimert Park

The Los Angeles Times and KTLA 5 featured the grand opening of Phase 1 of Iovine and Young Center, located at Audubon Middle School in Leimert Park. This cutting-edge new school, modeled on USC’s Iovine and Young Academy, brings a “hands-on problem-solving” approach to fusing technology, entrepreneurship, and design within an interdisciplinary, project-based high school curriculum. Phase 2, which has commenced, will expand IYC to its full potential in a combination of new and repurposed buildings.
