JFAK to Design New Facilities for the City of Anaheim’s Public Utilities Department
January 15, 2020
JFAK has been selected to design a new Crew Quarters Building (CQB) and Sustainability Education Center (SEC) for the City of Anaheim’s Public Utilities Department (APU). The project was officially kicked off with a site walk and utilities investigation on January 9, 2020.
The new CQB will provide facilities for APU field staff representing APU’s Water, Electric, Environmental, and Customer Service Divisions as well as its Public Works Facilities Maintenance Group.
The SEC will serve as a public education and community center that demonstrates sustainable building practices, energy and water use efficiencies, and cutting-edge home innovation technologies.
Construction is slated for mid-2021.
