JARZM House in Silverlake is featured in two recent publications: Architects’ Houses by Stephen Crafti and New California Modernism: Creativity in Context by Michael Webb.
The JARZM House, a reinterpretation of the Los Angeles hillside home as an adaptable vertical village, connects multiple levels of living, work, and gathering. A vivid yellow crane that lowers the dining table to the pool terrace embodies the project’s duality of workaday delight.
